| Social activist demands amnesty for small traders | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 4: A social activist Tajinder Singh has demand rehabilitation, restructuring and Amnesty policy for micro / small traders and industrial units in J&K UT, which are converted into NPA due to unforeseen circumstances and in some cases some account are not running smoothly due to economic crisis due to covid-19.
Tajinder said to further strengthen the bond between banks and business community, the banks must reduce its interest rates and make its one time settlement policy (OTS) flexible besides expediting disposal of loan proposals.
Tajinder said that covid19 pandemic has impacted overall hotel industry in J&k UT and due to this banks must consider for more moratorium period as well as 10percent additional funding to all affected business community in addition to the facilities extended by the banks through resolution package 2.0 |
