Inefficient officers trying to keep Lt Governor in dark | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 4: Even as Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has directed all Deputy Commissioners to spend at least two days in the field to get authenticate feedback about problems of the people, officers of the J&K administration are brazenly gagging the voice of those who dared to highlight the plight of the masses. Instead of responding to the public issues highlighted by the media, officers, at the helm of the affairs, are shamelessly indulged to stifling any such voice. With the help of the citizen journalists, the Early Times is trying its best to highlight peoples’ issues before the authorities for earlier redressal. Instead of taking note of peoples’ woes, arrogant officers at the helm of the affairs are trying to gag the voice of the newspaper by imposing one after another restriction. The nefarious design of these officers is to keep Lieutenant Governor in the dark because they want to give the impression that they are working very hard to peoples’ problem without any delay. Instead of working with sincerity to fulfill Lieutenant Governor’s visionary agenda to ensure equitable and balanced development in J&K, these officers through their evil designs, are trying to sabotage the whole exercise of winning the hearts and minds of the people. During the last nearly one year after the appointment of Manoj Sinha as Lieutenant Governor of J&K, many revolutionary steps have been taken to improve the social-economic conditions of the people. But there are some shortcomings also but these officers are not allowing redressal of these shortcomings because highlighting such shortcomings would expose their failures. |
