| Zila Sainik Board Akhnoor organizes seminar | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 4: Zila Sainik Board Akhnoor organized a seminar cum meeting of Ex-Servicemen with officials of Khadi and Village Industry Board Jammu and State Bank of India. The seminar was aimed to spread awareness of various avenues available to Ex-Servicemen and Veer Naris under Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
Tilak Raj Deputy CEO KVIB and Ankush Sharma Bank Manager State Bank of India, Akhnoor delivered talks about the details of the Schemes and facilities of loan and subsidy. The queries of the participants were also answered during the Question & Answer Session.
Approximately 50 Ex-Servicemen participated in the programme due to Covid protocols. Col JS Randhawa, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Akhnoor also addressed the Ex-servicemen and encouraged them to avail of this golden opportunity being promoted by the UT of J&K. |
