JAMMU, Aug 6: Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) organised a meeting of various NGOs working within Jammu.
During the meeting, discussion was done on the various working fields of NGO's , the vision with which they are working, also their achievements while working as a NGO were discussed.
Speaking during the meeting, Adv. Purnima said all the issues faced by the NGOs which can be solved on the corporation level were discussed. Many new ideas were discussed with which the NGOs can work with the involvement of Corporators.
"Many NGOs have been conducting awareness programs, helping the people in need, donating essential materials, providing education to underprivileged children and many other social activities", She said.
She further said that this meeting is a way to from a bridge between the BJP, the NGOs and Jammu Municipal Corporation so that all can work in coordination for the overall development and welfare of Jammu as a whole.
Narinder Gupta (Koki) (District Secretary), Sh. Veena Bakshi, Guneet, Arya Mahajan, Aditya Khajuria, Stuti Sharma, Anil Sharma, Aman Gupta and many more members of various NGOs were also present. |
