Restore drinking water supply in Kaghot village of Ramnagar

UDHAMPUR, Aug 6: People of both the panchayats of Kaghote Village are facing the problem of water shortage due to the failure of water supply in Kaghote A and Panchayat Kaghote B of village Kaghot in Ramnagar tehsil.
A meeting was held in Kaghote village under the chairmanship of BDC Chairman Ramnagar Des Raj regarding the shortage. Des Raj said that the main water supply pipeline of water supply coming to Kaghote village from both the past 15 has been stalled due to damage due to landslide. Due to which the water crisis has deepened in the village and the villagers are facing problems. But the Jal Shakti Department has not been able to restore the water supply which has been stalled for 15 days.
The Department has not taken any proper steps to repair the pipeline damaged due to landslide. Due to which the villagers are facing a lot of difficulty to bring drinking water as per the daily needs of the cattle and animals. BDC Chairman Ramnagar Des Raj took a jibe at the Jal Shakti Department and said Kaghote Village The Jal Shakti Department has proved to be completely unsuccessful in restoring the water supply in both the Panchayats of Kaghote
A and Kaghote B since last 15 days. BDC Chairman Des Raj District Development Commissioner Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib and high officials of Jal Shakti Department Demanding from him said that since 15 days in both the panchayats of Kaghote village, have demanded to take appropriate steps to restore the stalled drinking water supply. So that the villagers can get relief from the water shortage. Senior leader Darshan Kumar, (Munna) social worker Varinder Singh, Ravi Kumar, Panch Shakuntala Devi, including many others were present.
