Early Times Report KATHUA, Aug 6: A District Level Review Committee Meeting (DLRC) was held today which was chaired by Rahul Yadav (IAS) DDC Kathua and convened by G.M. Wani, LDM. The prominent persons who attended the meeting were, Amit Kumar (DDM, NABARD), Satish Kumar (Cluster Head J&K Bank), Rajat Bhan (SBI), M L Sharma, (PNB), Sumit Bharti (JK Grameen Bank), Vijay Upadhaya, CAO Kathua, Ramneek Singh, PO, (DUDA), Dr. Satvir Singh CAHO, S. Gupta Sheep Husbandry, S. Harvinder Singh (KVIB), Masquen Babu, DIC, Subash Chander FLC SBI and senior officers from banks, Govt departments. The Chairman Rahul Yadav reviewed the progress of CD ratio, cases under KCC, New KCC( Dairy, Poultry, Fisheries and Sheep Husbandry), PMEGP - KVIB / KVIC / DIC / NULM, NRLM Handloom / Handicraft, PMAY with special emphasis on credit linkage of beneficiaries under these schemes. He emphasized upon banks to simplify the systems and procedures so that maximum beneficiaries are credit linked under various schemes for generation of employment amongst the needy and poor people. He counseled all the officers of banks and Govt departments to exercise empathy towards poverty stricken people, which is bound to ensure the achievement of their set targets. He advised that banks-specific action plans should be devised for better focus on increase in CD ratio. The chairman advised all banks to cover maximum number of persons with 100% penetration under social security schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and to issue RuPay Debit Cards to all eligible a/c holders. Amit Kumar, DDM, NABARD, discussed the PLP preparation and methodology with the forum and requested the entire line departments to provide data for the preparation of PLP for the FY 2022-23. He also discussed subsidy schemes like ACAB, AIF etc with the forum. DDM NABARD also told the forum regarding the new project sanctioned under RIDF in the district. GM Wani (LDM Kathua) presented the achievements under Annual Action Plan for the year 2020-21, informed the house that 752.02 crores have been disbursed under priority sector and 682.42 crores under non-priority sector, thereby recording 69% achievement under ACP as on 31.03.2021. Further, under social security schemes 194097 accounts opened under PMJDY, 7235 individuals have been covered under Atal Pension Yojana, 52289 individuals has been covered under JeevanJyotiBimaYojana, 101773 individuals has been covered under Suraksha Bima Yojana and 21035 accounts under PMMY have been opened/financed as on 31 March 2021. |
