| Childline organizes painting competition | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 6: Childline Jammu organized the painting competition with children at Greater Kailish area. More than twenty children participated in the competition and display their skill. The purpose behind to organize such kind of activities is to engage the children with some productive activities due to closure of school for almost two years. As the schools were closed and children have to remain indoor for most of the time.
They have very limited option to display their skill due to danger of corona infection. During the event the children were asked to draw a picture or painting whatever they like. All the children participated very enthusiastically in the event. Besides the painting competition the participants were also aware about the SOP with regard to COVID 19.They were urged to follow the guideline to protect themselves and their families against the deadly infection of corona virus.
Live demonstration was also delivered before them how use the face mask, washing of hands, importance of social distancing etc. Manjari Singh state In charge CIF also shared her experiences with the children and cautioned them not to lose their boots as reports coming from experts that third wave may target the children. |
