Cultural Wing DIPR holds musical event at BVM Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Aug 6: As part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebration, Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu, in collaboration with District Information Centre, Udhampur, today organised a musical programme here at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School Nainsoo.
Sarpanch, Manmohan Raina was the chief guest and Principal of the School, Renu Sharma was guest of honour.
Artists of the cultural wing and District Information Centre, Udhampur, including Mohinder Panchairvi, Suresh Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar presented a musical programme featuring patriotic and Folk songs. The cultural program was highly appreciated by the audience. On the occasion, the chief guest hailed the information department for presenting such a beautiful cultural programme on Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav to mark the 75 years of India’s Independence. He hoped that the Information department would hold more such events on the same topic and also appealed to the people to turn up in large numbers in such events.
Principal, Renu Sharma also praised the cultural wing of information department for holding the musical progamme on Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. She also asked the participants to follow the Covid-19 safety SoPs during the celebration activities.
