UDHAMPUR, Aug 28: Municipal Council Udhampur (MCU), Councillor Vikram Singh Slathia today dedicated to the public, the lane with tiled floor from Durga Mata Temple to Railway road in Ward 6.
The lane is constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 4.61 lakhs. The inauguration was done by ADDC Udhampur, Kanta Devi (JKAS) in presence of CEO, Municipal Council Udhampur, Sanjeev Gandotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Slathia assured his ward residents that he will leave no stone unturned for the development of the area and to make his ward, the best in the town.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastics, polythenes in their routine work and cooperate to keep the city clean. Locals present on the occasion were Vijay Bhardwaj, Mohinder Singh Rana, Shiv Dev Singh, Khemraj Khajuria, Dr. B.P. Sharma, Jai Kishan, Prithvi Raj, Pardeep Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Narotam Singh and others. |
