Jammu, Aug 28: ABVP was unofficially declared as “outlaw” in J&K when the “nationalist” BJP was sharing power with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the year 2016.
Ironically when ABVP was unofficially banned in J&K in 2016, many ministers and senior leaders at that time had claimed themselves as old activists of ABVP.
When BJP was sharing power with PDP, authorities of Jammu University had announced not to give permission to ABVP to hold any function in the campus. Administration of different degree colleges of the state had also decided to follow the same step to debar this organization from holding any activity. |
