| DDC councilor inspects macadamization work | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Aug 28: Councilor, District Development Council, Ramban, Renuka Katoch today inspected the macadamization work at Maitra- Billawat link road.Councilor was accompanied by the Executive Engineer, PWD, Ramban, Vinod, Engineers and prominent citizens of the area.
She visited for spot verification after receiving complaints from the locals regarding leaving some stretches without macadamization hanisation and poor quality of work at Maitra -Billawat link road adjoining the district headquarter.
While expressing her concern over the erring attitude of concerned JE, Renuka Katoch warned him to don't violate the norms of the contract and guidelines issued by the Lieutenant Governor Administration to inform concerned councilor well before the start of development works to ensure its proper monitoring and quality check.
Councilor also expressed her displeasure over intentionally dropping a starch of road from macadamization by the staff of the executing agency. Renuka Katoch directed the officials to cover the left out patches immediately. |
