| Jashn Rajouri-II showcases Paddari culture | | |  Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Aug 28: A troupe of renowned artists of Paddari culture under the leadership of Mohinder Rana presented unique Paddari folk dance in a mega cultural event in Rajouri titled as Jashn Rajouri-II today. The troupe is a part of NGO Sapphire Culture of Paddar Elite headed by Abdul Majeed Bichoo.
No doubt Paddaries have still preserved their traditional culture at their own but it too is not out of place to mention that since 90s during the odd days Academy of Art Culture and Languages Sub Office Doda promote Paddari Culture by organizing several events in such a remote area.
At this stage for representing the Paddari culture in such a Mega Cultural event credit goes to Dr. Alamdar Adam of JKCAAL for inviting the SCOPE in participating in such a mega event.
Chairman SCOPE, Ab Majeed Bichoo along with all team members extended particular thanks to Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Rajesh Kumar Shavan who is sympathizer of Paddri Culture. A M Bichoo appreciated the Dy Commissioner Rajouri and JKCAAL for organizing such events for promotion of composite cultural heritage. |
