Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 26: On the occasion of commemoration of 75 years of Indian Independence "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" NMDC Limited Donimalai Complex under the aegis of Indian Bureau of Mines, Bengaluru conducted various activities in the organization, schools and also for local community so as to create awareness on health, education, environment and cleanliness including mass plantation drive from October 2 to 14. The mass plantation drive was arranged at Donimalai Township along with Arun Kumar, DCOM, IBM, Bengaluru and K Srinivas, Asst. Mining Geologist, IBM, Bengaluru, school children and local Panchayat members. On October 20, a valedictory function was organized at Kalike Kendra of NMDC Limited, Donimalai. On this occasion, the following dignitaries addressed the gathering on "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" and distributed prizes to the winners. Arun Kumar, DCOM and K Srinivas, Asst. Mining Geologist, IBM, Bengaluru; Sanjiv Sahi, CGM, P Ramaiayan, GM (Mech) Plant, Pradeep Saxena, GM (Pers), S M Jagadeeswar, DGM (Min) and other officials of NMDC; SC/ST Employees' Welfare Association General Secretary Raja D and Vice President, Mohan K G; President of Deogiri Gram Panchayat Swarnalatha and members of Gram Panchayat, Narasingapura were also present on the occasion. |
