Police officers visit martyrs' families in Doda

KISHTWAR, Oct 26: In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the NOKs of the Police Martyrs, Police Officers posted in District Doda visited the residences of NOKs of various martyrs who had laid down their lives in the line of duty. A roster was issued by DPO Doda wherein all the officers posted in District Doda were directed to visit the families /NOKs of martyrs in order to know their well being, show solidarity with them and note down the grievances if any so that their genuine grievances can be resolved /put forth before appropriate forum for redressal.
As per the details available with Early Times, the officers who visited the martyrs families/NOKs include SP Bhaderwah Abdul Qayoom JKPS, SP Hqrs Doda Master Popsy JKPS, SP (ops) Doda Raj Kumar JKPS, Dy SP DAR Doda Shokat Ali JKPS, all SHOs and I/C PPs, IC Police Components of District Doda. The officers held detailed interaction with families/NOKs of various martyrs who attained martyrdom during the last thirty years .
During interaction with martyrs' families, the visiting Officers listened to their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine grievances/ problems will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. Visiting officers emphasized on them to consider police department as their family and share their problems especially in case of exigencies. While expressing their solidarity with NOKs, the officers assured them that J&K police will always remain indebted to these martyrs who have sacrificed their lives to create the atmosphere of peace & tranquility in J&K. Next of kin of the martyrs' expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.
