Give respect to Jammu people
10/26/2021 11:44:51 PM

Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his recent 3-day J&K visit made it amply clear that no one will be allowed to disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir. He made it clear that he won’t talk to Pakistan and would instead speak to youth. He lashed out at those who haven’t condemned terrorism during the past three decades.
Amit Shah gave a clear message to one and all that New Delhi is prepared to face any challenge. He also assured people of Jammu that days of injustice with them are over and no one will ignore them in future. He has made it clear that statehood would be restored only after the assembly elections are held.
Amit Shah’s J&K visit has sent a clear message to one and all that no one will be allowed to interfere in the internal matters of India and there is no possibility of New Delhi discussing Kashmir with Pakistan.
The Home Minister has sent a clear signal to bureaucrats that they cannot ignore the aspirations of nationalist people of Jammu region, who have always stood with the country and whenever needed they laid down their lives for the national cause.
The Home Minister mentioning in his speech that no injustice will be done with the Jammu people was a hint to the helmsmen that they can’t ignore the people of Jammu region.
During the past few months resentment has been brewing in the Jammu region due to the arbitrary decisions taken by the helmsmen. People of Jammu are seeking answers from the local BJP leaders, whom they had voted for in the 2014 assembly elections.
These leaders on many occasions have claimed that they are not running the government and its being run by the officials.
One hopes that after the clear cut directions from the Union Home Minister the bureaucrats will change their mindset towards the natives and would ensure that sentiments of Jammu people are not hurt.
They have been told in clear terms that Jammu and its people matter.
The officials should bear in mind that they have to run the system according to the wishes of the people and do such works that benefit a common man. All the privileges cannot be kept reserved for only a particular section. Everyone has to be treated equally and natives have to be given the respect they deserve.
