"Integrity Pledge" administered to officers, jawans of IRP 19th Bn | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Oct 28: "Integrity Pledge" was administered to the officers and jawans by Commandant IRP 19th Bn, SSP Benam Tosh at an impressive pledge-taking- ceremony held here at Battalion Headquarters Kathua as part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2021. Officers and jawans belonging to all the companies including SP Santokh Raj, Deputy SP Kuldeep Raj Tripathi, Deputy SP Deepak Tufchi, took anti-corruption pledge that they shall not accept bribes or offer bribes and shall foster a culture of honesty and integrity. Apart from main ceremony at Bn HQ Kathua, pledge taking ceremonies were also organized at all company headquarters and integrity pledge was administered so as to create awareness against corruption among all the officials down to lower subordinates. SSP Benam Tosh while interpreting the ingredients of the integrity pledge said that officers and jawans have taken pledge to promote honesty, ethical practices, transparency, accountability and fairness at the offices as also in the field and have pledged not to accept bribes or offer bribes . "We have also pledged to adopt code of ethics for all employees and to sensitize our employees of laws, rules and regulations relevant to their work for honest discharge of their duties. We pledged to provide grievances redressal and Whistle Blower mechanism for reporting corruption related and fraudulent activities. We also pledged to protect the rights and interests of the society at large exhibiting honesty and integrity," Benam Tosh added. |
