Artists deserve to be promoted on all platforms: Sat | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 28: Former State President BJP and ex-Minister Sat Sharma (CA) visited the ongoing Art Camp being held at Kala Kendra, Jammu and encouraged the works of the participating artists. Sharma was also accompanied by Chairman Tourism Federation Jammu Rajesh Gupta, Senior BJP leader Harinder Gupta, BJP Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, Tapan Dubey President The ART initiative, Ravinder Singh Head of Project Pratyush, Shivani Khajuria Coordinator and Amrik Singh Vice Chairman Tourism Federation. After visiting the various displays at the exhibition venue, Sat Sharma said that wider exposure has a dual advantage for the artist. He said, on the one hand, it enables an artist with a creative potential to get the opportunity of reaching out to larger horizons, while on the other hand, it also promotes competitive spirit among the artists, he added. He said that earlier also, he has been encouraging artists and sculptors to put up their displays in the national capital and he would continue to encourage them in future as well. He stated that such an initiative by organizers will definitely give a good message to the society and will motivate others as well to take part in such artistic things which can give a shape to an excellent career as well. He also stated that inspired by the works of PM Narendra Modi, such type of events are being organized in various parts of the country and he appealed everyone to initiate in celebrating 75th year of independence which is also being celebrated under the banner of "Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" which will also spread a message of unity amongst all sections, he stated. |
