Woman killed another mauled, critically injured by wild bears in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 12: A woman was killed and another mauled and critically injured by a wild bear in two different incidents in Kashmir valley on Friday. Reports said a women was attacked by a wild bear and killed in Ashmuqam area of South Kashmir in Anantnag district today. The woman was identified as Muneera Banoo was attacked and seriously injured by the bear in village Diyaroo, the reports said and added she was shifted to nearby by hospital by the local villagers where she was declared brought dead. A woman was attacked by a wild bear near her home at Hardushiva in Sopore township when she was coming from a seminary where she teaches the Holy Quran. She was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where from she was referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for special treatment. An official of the Wildlife Department said that a tem has been sent to the area to capture the wild bear. |
