Bhaderwah, Dec 3: The Red Ribbon Club of GDC Bhadarwah in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society, (JKACS) H&ME observed AIDS DAY. The programme was organized under the patronage of Dr. Kuldeep K Sharma, Principal of the college. The event was organized to commemorate the 75th year of Independence (AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV). Dr Sandeep Kotwal Nodal Officer of the Red Ribbon Club of the College supervised the event. In today’s activity one minute video blogs of the participating students were received on online mode, who spoke on different hash tags viz. #HIV awareness, #talk about HIV, #HIV prevention, #HIV stigma, #HIV testing, #Istand with cause and #no HIV stigma. The participants participated enthusiastically in the event. The whole event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Davinder Kumar, Prof Sandesh Kumar and Dr. Sangeeta Devi. The event was conducted in continuation of the programme which was organized on 1st of December 2021 by Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of India in which Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya Hon’ble Minster, Health and Family Welfare, Government of India was the chief guest and Dr. Bharti Parvin Pawar Hon’ble Minster of state, Health and Family Welfare, Government of India was the Guest of honor at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The Red Ribbon Club students of GDC Bhadarwah also attended the programme virtually.
