| CD wardens’ meeting organised | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 3: Civil Defence (CD) oganised meeting of wardens at Civil Defence Control Room Jammu.
The meeting was chaired by Anita Pawar, Dy. SP. Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and attended by Paramjir Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Mangotra Dy. Chief warden CD Jammu, Raj Kumar Gupta Dy. Divisional Warden CD Jammu, Romesh Sharma, Post Warden CD Jammu, Rajiv Gupta Dy. Post Warden CD Jammu and Gardhari Lal Dy. Divisional Warden CD Jammu and the sector wardens of CD Jammu.
The meeting was organized on the directions of Commandant General HG/CD/SDRF, J&K, Jammu to strengthen the CD warden service by way of organizing awareness camps, conducting of five days CD Basic Trainings and demonstrations, etc. While addressing the meeting Dy. Controller CD Jammu appreciated the wardens whose performance remained outstanding in the past.
She told such wardens will be honored and elevated the next rank in the warden service. She urged the Civil Defence volunteers to perform their duties with dedication and keep vigilant in their respective areas. The Post wardens were asked to prepare the list of Volunteers for five days CD Training. She asked CD wardens to organize awareness camps in their areas with regard to preventive measures during Earth Quake, Fire Fighting, First Aid, Flood Rescue & Drug menace etc. and follow up the S.O.P as well as guidelines issued from time to time by the govt. of UT J&K regarding COVID-19. |
