| Jkstew Society appeals Lg to introduce facial recognition technology | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 3: JKSTEW SOCIETY appeals His Excellency LG Manoj Sinha to introduce FACIAL recognition technology in Sehat scheme under PMJAY of central Government.
Government of JKUT under the aegis of PM AYUSHMAN BHARAT SCHEME OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT has launched SEHAT scheme giving medical cover of 1.25 crores Residents of JKUT but the benefit of scheme cannot be availed by those families or Individuals whose thumb impressions/Eyes recognition are not possible due to the fact that with the growing age the same are not covered by the machine recording the same and in many cases by those whose eyes impressions don't match because of cataract surgery.
With the Abrogation of Article 370&35-A central government efforts has been that the benefits of all these schemes reaches common man on the ground level but the same is denied due to one reasons or the other.Few days bk a deputation lead by Society's President Vijay Sharma met Additional Chief Secretary Atal Dullu who promptly acted & brought the same in the notice of Authorities in centre but without any tangible results. Now with the launch of facial recognition technology it's humbly requested that the same may also be introduced in SEHAT scheme of JKUT added Sharma President of Society in an appeal to Lt.Gov.Manoj Sinha through a press release here this afternoon. |
