Jammu, Dec 3: GGM Science College Men and Women teams of Basketball enters in final in Inter-Collegiate Basketball tournament organised by Cluster University of Jammu, today at MA Stadium.
Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar Cluster University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In Men’s section GGM Science College got walkover against Govt. College of Education, MAM College beat Govt. SPMR College of Commerce by 25-15 and enters in Final. Puneet Verma of MAM College played very well and score 13 Points. In Women’s Section GGM Science College played against GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and won the match by 25-01 points. Tejaswini Khajuria and Akriti both scored 10 points each for GGM Science College team.
The tournament was played under the overall supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu and Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu. Prof. Rubina Yasmeen, Prof. Seema Kumari, Aijaz Malik, Physical Director SPMR College of Commerce, Dr. Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar College, Neenu Sawhney, Physical Director MAM College Jammu, media persons and participants of the Sports events were present on the occasion. The match was officiated by Amanjot Singh, Jaskirat Singh, Sachin, Parveen, Abhinav Sharma, Sushma Jamwal, Gurdeep Singh. |
