Winners of Divisional Level Kala Utsav felicitated at Kathua

KATHUA, Dec 3: To felicitate the winners of Divisional Level Kala Utsav, a felicitation function was held today at District Resource Centre, Kathua.
The winners were also given medals along with certificates of appreciation for their contribution.
Chief Education Officer, Prakash Lal Thappa graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
He appreciated the students for bringing laurels to the district by winning Divisional level Kala Utsav overall Best District Trophy. The Chief Education Officer inspired the students who bagged the top position in their respective art form and entertained the audience with their scintillating performances.
He also praised the efforts of teachers, mentors, selectors for their tireless work in making Kala Utsav 2021 a grand success. He also stressed the need to uplift the potential of students in the field of art and culture at institutional level.
It is noteworthy that the participants of District Kathua bagged seven First positions, four second positions, two third positions, a total thirteen positions in nine different Art categories with overall best District Trophy in Jammu Division.
Pawan Vivek, DRG Kathua delivered the formal welcome address, while Anita Pangotra moderated the proceedings.
Others present were ZEO Kathua, HODs DIET Basohli,Zonal Incharges Cultural and Education Cell, as well as Technical expert Sh.Deepak Sharma. District Incharge Cultural Cell ,Kathua Monika Khosla presented the vote of Thanks to all present .
