| JKCCTU holds Regional Committee meeting | | |

JAMMU, Dec 7: JKCCTU held Regional Committee meeting today at Jammu which was presided by Dr. Shashi Pal Singh Regional President and attend by the prominent JKCCTU leaders like Gurmeet Singh Gen. Secretary, Surinder Kumar Regional Secretary, Mohan Lal, Girdhari Lal Chanda, Rajesh Jamwal, Arvinder Pal, Ashok Kumar, Sanjay Gupta and Amar Singh, apart from others.
Md Maqbool President JKCCTU while attending the meeting specially explained the present situation and the coming onslaught on the working class in general and state employees in particular due to rampant privatization of PSUs and Govt Departments and the burning issues like price rising, unemployment, wage and regularization policies and attack on pensioner rights, DA freezing. He urged the employees and workers to gear up their organization and wage a relentless struggle in coming days to safe guard their hard earned rights.
The meeting decided to hold the 4th, State conference of JKCCTU in Jammu city and necessary preparations were discussed. The meeting decided to hold next meeting very soon to form the reception committee and to decide the date and other arrangements about the conference. Other issues regarding organization and struggle on burning issues were also discussed in detail. |
