UDHAMPUR, Dec 7: A one-day program of congress party at Jakhaini area was organized by Ashwani Khajuria and Councillor Preeti Khajuria, in which hundreds of people were present. Preeti told about the works done in the last three years in her tenure as Councillor and other works which will be started in the coming days, which will give relief to the people of her ward. These development works are related to roads, lanes, drains, main entrance gates, ration cards and plantation, she added. Senior Congress leader Ashwani Khajuria, who was present on the occasion, also talked about strengthening the Congress party because the way the BJP government is working, the country and the countrymen are upset and now people have lost faith in the government's false promises. Now people have to understand that Congress will have to bring back in power again so that the rising graph of hunger, poverty, inflation could be brought down. On the occasion, people were made aware of the policies of the Congress and people also accepted that if Jammu and Kashmir can be taken forward, in development, then it is only Ghulam Nabi Azad, people once again want to see him as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Because no one has done as many development works as he has done during his tenure of two and half year only and now we need such leaders who understand the problems of the people and take forward the development works of the state. Abdul Karim, Yunus Shah, Rozi, Bansi Lal, Mohan, Mohammad Yakub and Surmi Devi were present along with the local residents on the occasion. |
