Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 7: On the occasion of death anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar, social activist Adv Deepak Gupta started Samajik Samanta Utsav, in which blankets and warm clothes will be distributed amongst the needful Widows and helpless people. The campaign will continue for next 37 days and will conclude on 12th January on the eve of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. While addressing the gathering, Adv Deepak Gupta said that he is committed to work on the life lessons of Dr BR Ambedkar and has started this campaign to reach the unreached and help the helpless. More than 20 blankets were distributed on the first day of the campaign in a program organized at Ward No 20 of the JMC. Deepak further said that he will continue doing such social works for the spreading a feeling of equity, love amongst different segments of society. Others who accompanied were Vidash, Sparsh, Abhishek, Aniket, Abhishek Kumar, Vinayak, Sugam and Satyam. |
