JAMMU, Dec 7: The teaching staff of Government Higher Secondary School has been making merry as the institution has been functioning without Principal for the last over five months,sources said here today.
Taking a dig at the administration of School Education Department,, social activist Sunil Pandita said that a surplus staff has been deputed to valley who have been appointed under PM's employment package but the dearth of staff in the schools of migrant camps in particular was not considered, Sunil added.
He said despite shortage of staff in various subjects in the said school,the administration has failed to depute a principal for the last over five months which encouraged the mis- management and provided an opportunity to rest of the staff to do the things at their will,Sunil further added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the former principal of the said school,Satish Kumar Pandita attained age of superannuation in July last and since then no arrangement has been made to depute principal to the institution alleged parents of some students.. |
