JAMMU, Dec 10: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha today released an amount of Rs 1,84,100 towards financial assistance to weaker sections of the society. Rs 152,100 was released towards 169 widow pension and scholarship to the poor and needy students. An Amount of Rs 22000 for the marriage of two needy girls and Rs 10000 towards the medical expenses of a needy Mahajan person for his treatment. While speaking on this occasion the Sabha President, Romesh Chander Gupta said that Mahajan Sabha is always committed to help the poor and needy persons and always work for the upliftment of the economically weaker section of the society.
The dignitaries present on this occasion were Shiv Partap Gupta, Om Parkash Mahajan (Kaku Shah), Sanjay Mahajan (Gen. Secy), Surinder Gupta, Dr. Mohan Lal Gupta, Yash Pal Gupta, Vipan Gupta, Atul Gupta, Prabhu Dayal Gupta and others. |
