| Mughal Road reopens after 5 days | | |

Srinagar, Dec 10: The historical Mughal road connecting Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri in Jammu division reopened for vehicular traffic after five days on Friday, a traffic police official said.
The road was closed on December 5 following snowfall on upper reaches of Kashmir including on the Mughal road.
The snow clearance operations were taken up and could not continue due to the freezing temperature which made the road slippery. However, the road was cleared of snow and put through for all types of vehicular traffic, the traffic official added. |
