| GDC RS Pura conducts cleanliness drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 10: As a part of ongoing Clean India Program (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) the NSS unit of Govt Degree College (GDC) RS Pura carried out a cleanliness drive in village Rakh Fatheypur Brahmana, RS Pura under the patronship of Principal of the college Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer.
About 30 volunteers participated in the event. During the cleanliness drive volunteers cleaned the premises of Govt. Primary School Rakh Yaar, RS Pura.
They picked up plastic items like wrappers, plastic bottles and polythene, cutting bushes thereby cleaning the premises. NSS Volunteers also interacted with the staff of the school.
The work of NSS volunteers was appreciated by the Head of school. Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of NSS unit and volunteers and encouraged them to keep on doing such activities in future also.
