| GDC Basohli celebrates International Human Rights Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BASOHLI, Dec 10: GDC Basohli organized an online ‘Poster Making Competition’ on the occasion of “International Human Rights Day” under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. The event was addressed by the Principal, Dr. Nidhi Kotwal.
She deliberated on the importance of human rights for all and makes everyone aware of her/his rights so that no one in the society remains deprive of her/his rights. Dr. Gotam Singh, organizing Secretary of the event briefed the students about the rules and regulations of the Poster making competition.
He also addressed the participants and requested them to spread the message of human rights for making this society a better place to live.
A total of fifteen students participated in the event. The event was adjudicated by Dr. R K Manhas, Dr. Papinder Bhagat, and Prof. Bhram Dutt. Sonika Devi of B.A. Sem I won the first position, Kajol Devi of Sem I stood second, and Kajal Devi of Sem III bagged third position.
