| GDC Thannamandi organizes week long door to door cleanliness awareness campaign | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Dec 10: NSS unit of Govt Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi organized a week long door to door Cleanliness Awareness Campaign implementing Clean India Programme under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. The awareness campaign was carried out from 4th of December 2021 to 10th of December 2021 in village Hasplote Thannamandi Ward No 4. About 45 NSS Volunteers participated in this Awareness campaign related to Solid Waste management, its proper disposal and various other issues related to Clean liness.
The whole Programme was conducted under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. The NSS Volunteers motivated the local community people to take part in cleanliness drives organized by Clean India programme. The Prime objective of this programme was to spread awareness among the people regarding cleanliness. The Awareness Campaign was organized by NSS Programme Officer Prof. Muhammad Shoket. |
