Tributes paid to Bipin Rawat, other martyrs in Pallanwala | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 12: A tribute paying ceremony was organized at Evergreen Public School Pallanwala in which tributes were paid to martyr Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat along with other army officers and Jawans who attained martyrdom in helicopter crash. Prominent people gathered observed two minutes silence praying for the peace of their souls. On this occasion Professor Dr. Karan Singh, former lecturer Jagdev Singh, Balwinder Singh (retired teacher), social worker Dr. Purshottam Lal, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha District General Secretary Suresh Sharma, Sarpanch Geeta Devi, Sarpanch Bahadur Singh, retired Captain Chaudhary M S Thakur, Joginder Singh Chib Vice President Migrant Cell, Subedar Balveer Singh Ex-Serviceman Cell, Jasvir Singh Bhau, Ranveer Singh Bhau Ex Serviceman, Panch Jyoti Kumar and other dignitaries were present. Dr. Karan and Suresh said that General Rawat was one of the bravest soldiers who served the motherland with utmost devotion. His exemplary contribution and commitment cannot be expressed in words.
