Outreach Programme organized by FOB Rajouri concludes

RAJOURI, Dec 15: Intensive Communication & Outreach Campaign on Drug De-Addiction launched by Field Outreach Bureau (FOB) Rajouri concluded at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Surankote today.
The valedictory function was organised under the Chairmanship of Mussurul Hussain Shah whereas Naeem-Ul-Nissa, Bhatti, SDM, Surankote was the chief guest and Mohmmad Nissar, Child Development Project Officer, Surankote was the guest of honour.
Speaking on this occasion, Naeem-Ul-Nissa, Bhatti, SDM, Surankote said that Drug Addiction has become more Popular in Surankote and it is the need of honour to curb its menace. She was of the view that such programms need to be organised in panchayat and village level so that every citizen is taught about its ill effects in the society. On this occasion, experts viz Nusrat Jabeen, from Social Welfare department, Tariq Saifi from Education department, Dr Imran from Health department and Sushant Singh from Police department acted as resource persons and delivered key note addresses on various aspects and provisions of Drug Addiction and Drug De-Addiction.
Speaking on this occasion, Gurnam Singh, Incharge Field Outreach Bureau and Shri Sunil Sharma, highlighted the importance of such awareness programmes which play a vital role in curbing social evils and Drug addiction from society. Shabir Zargar from EducationDdepartment acted as nodal person during 2-days campaign. Officials from ICDS, students & teachers from Education Department also participated in the valedictory function.
Sub Division Administration, Social Welfare, ICDS, Education, Police, Health departments extended their cooperation, coordination and support in making the 2-day campaign on Drug De-Addiction successful.
