| Suspicious bag found on Jammu- Srinagar NH, police say no threat | | |

JAMMU, Dec 15: Hours after suspicious bag was found on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban, district police said that there is no threat and no need to panic.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, PD Nitya said that information was received in Police Station Ramban that an unclaimed suitcase (red colour) is lying on the NH-44 Ramban near Mehad petrol pump.
"A Police party was rushed towards the spot," said the SSP adding that on reaching the spot, dog squad and BDS squad checked the bag carefully where some clothes were found and nothing suspicious. |
