Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 15: J&K unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today launched campaign 'AAP Ka Danka Gali Gali' to awaken the people of Jammu region by vice president Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Rajesh Gupta from Press Club Jammu in the presence of scores of party workers here today. The motive of the campaign is to tell the people about the Aam Aadmi Party policies. This campaign will carry from door to door and street to street throughout the region.
Rajesh Gupta while interacting with the media said that Jammu people are fed up with the wrong policies of BJP and they made up their mind towards Aam Aadmi Party. Gupta said that the Delhi model of Kejriwal Government will be introduced in which 200 units of electricity, 20,000 liters of water, every Panchayat will have Mohalla Clinics, free medicines and free medical tests, education sector will be improved, better facilities to the school teachers and government schools will be improved and job guarantee for 18 years and above.
He said that the State of Jammu and Kashmir has been reduced to the level of administrative unit and the glory of the State has been snatched and ruined at the hands of BJP. He added that even after formal transition of J&K from State to UT on October 31, the issue of domicile safeguard and job safety and security has been left unaddressed. The future of lakhs of unemployed youth is in jeopardy, he added.
Gupta slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party for "creating hysteria over discrimination for nearly six decades. Asserting that the BJP Government in J&K proved disastrous and ominous in every aspect, Gupta said that amid the administrative disarray, the BJP was only indulging in flip flops and opportunist politics. The AAP leader said that the BJP has failed to take any cognizance on the coveted projects which had been gathering dust for last seven years.
