Theme based paintings of Adinath Lord Shiva, Adi Shakti on display on Vande Bharat Express | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 15: In sync with the inauguration of the first phase of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor at Varanasi, India’s most prestigious and first semi high speed train Vande Bharat Express will now give a feel of rich heritage of Kashi to the travelling passengers through a spiritual journey. Theme based paintings of Adinath Lord Shiva and Adi Shakti have been displayed on the interior walls of Executive Class coaches of Vande Bharat Express. These paintings have an additional value as these have been made by foot & mouth artists from Jammu. Train-18 was inaugurated and flagged off on February 15, 2019 by Prime Minister to connect the capital of the country to the Varanasi, the oldest living city, a city of traditional classical culture, glorified by myth and legend and sanctified by religion. Its sister rake flagged off by Home Minister was dedicated to the nation to improve connectivity to the crown state of the country and enhancing the travel experience for the pilgrims of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, Katra. These rakes of Vande Bharat Express have been providing unmatched services to passengers in terms of onboard facilities and comfort levels with impeccable record of punctuality. The train set are equipped with distributed under slung mounted traction system, advanced regenerative braking system, modular seats with 180 degree rotating mechanism in Executive Class, diffused LED lighting, automatic entry/exit doors, fully sealed wider gangways for safe dust free coach to coach movement, modular bio-vacuum toilets, mini pantry, Emergency talk back units and sensor-based interconnecting doors in each coach. |
