| DC Doda flags off Mobile Food testing Van | | |

DODA, Dec 15: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma, today launched Mobile Food testing Van (MFTV), under "Eat Right Challenge" campaign from DC office complex Doda, today. The Van will be available in the district for a couple of days during which it shall cover all the routes and major areas/ towns of the district and test the quality of food served hotels and other Food business operators.
ADC Doda, Dr. Ravi Bharti and Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Officer Doda Taraq Ahmed Batt were also present.
Highlighting the specific features of the Testing Van, the DC said that it is a food testing laboratory on wheels to facilitate the food business Operators & consumers for testing Food on the spot.
The MFTV will play a vital role in spreading awareness among the public in general regarding "Eat Right Challenge", he added. The Assistant Commissioner Food Safety District Doda informed that the vehicle shall be used in measuring and monitoring of Food quality & imparting Training to the Food Business Operators across the District. |
