| GDC RS Pura conducts cleanliness drive at Sheetla Mata temple | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 15: As part of ‘Clean India Programme’, 2 J&K Girls Bn. NCC and Eco Club of Government Degree College (GDC) RS Pura conducted a cleanliness drive in Sheetla Mata Temple, RS Pura under the banner of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
The activity was conducted under the patronship of Prof. Sunil Uppal, principal of the college and Lt. Shaveta Chowdhary, NCC ANO and Prof. Shifali Abrol, Convener Eco Club. About 28 students took part in the drive and cleaned the premises of the temple along with its vicinity.
Students also spread awareness among the devotees there to maintain cleanliness in the religious places. Principal of the college appreciated the efforts put in by the students and faculty and also motivated them to organize similar activities in the future as well. Prof. Esha Abrol, Member Eco Club coordinated the activity. |
