| FFMA greets countrymen on Vijay Diwas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 16: On completing 50 years of Vijay Diwas, Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) J&K congratulated the people of India and Indian Army.
On this day in 1971, the Pakistani Army surrendered to the Indian Army. In a meeting Chairman of Association Ved Gandotra said that in this war Indian Army had given the country a decisive victory and & liberated Bangladesh. We congratulate all the soldiers and people of this country on this glorious occasion. Gen Secretary Ravinder Mittal said that we are proud of our Army, Navy and Air Force who had fought bravely and gave a crushing defeat to Pakistan. 90 thousand Pakistani soldiers had to surrender. The Indian Army is the best army in the world and it is fully capable to face every situation. Sandoor Singh Bhalwal, President of this association also presented in the meeting. |
