JAMMU, Dec 16: Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men & Women) tournaments were organized by Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) in GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu today. Prof. Suresh Bhat was the chief guest and Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu and Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu was the guest of honour on the occasion. In Men’s section SPMR College of Commerce beat GGM Science College by 37-22. The real hero of the game was Mohd. Asif of SPMR College of Commerce who played very well. In women section, SPMR College of Commerce beat GGM Science College by 41-36 in neck to neck fight. In Men’s section, tomorrow final matches will be played between SPMR College of Commerce and MAM College and in Women’s section SPMR College of Commerce will play the final match with GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The tournament was played under the supervision of Dr. Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar and under the overall supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu and Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu. Prof. Yash Paul (Convenor Sports Committee, GCW Gandhi Nagar), Prof. Varun Sharma, Prof. Isha Goel, Prof. Pooja Charak, Prof. Jagmeet Kour, Aijaz Malik, Physical Director SPMR College of Commerce, Neenu Sawhney, Physical Director Govt. MAM College along with media persons and participants of the Sports events were present on the occasion.
