2nd programme on 'Media and Community Mobilization' held

JAMMU, Dec 16: On the directions of Chief Education Officer Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore second programme on the subject 'Media and Community Mobilization' was held at Govt. High School Muthi under the chairmanship of Zonal Education Officer Jammu, Haneef Mohd Hackla under the banner of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA.
The programme was attended by the Councillors Suraj Padha Ward No 67, Sunita Gupta Ward No 37, Seva Dass Dingra Retd Director, Sukhdev Sharma Retd ZEO, Rajesh Bhardwaj, Avneet Gupta, Mangat Ram Gupta, Chita Khan, all VEC/SMC members, Vice Principal Satish Kumar GHSS Muthi and all HOIs from PS to HSS. The main agenda of the programme was to highlight the interventions of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA and other initiatives of School Education Department in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. Zonal Education Officer spoke at length about the different initiatives launched by the SED of JKUT and the different components which includes MDM, DBT in favour of each and every students, enrollment of students with the help of local community members viz VEC members, SMC/SMDC, distribution of dry rice and books at the door steps of every child, online education to the students right from 1st to class 12th as per the guidelines of government.
Councillors of different wards while speaking on the occasion appreciated the role of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA and the Zonal Education Officer under the guidance of Chief Education Officer Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore in organizing this programme to make them aware of the different schemes launched by the Central Government. They assured the Zonal Education Officer Jammu for their full cooperation and pledged to support the Education Department by actively participating with the School Education Programmes. Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Subash Jamwal, Jaipal Sharma were the Coordinator of the programme.
The Zonal Education Planning Officer Joginder Singh also highlighted the different programmes launched by the Guidance and Counselling Cell and Cultural Cell of the Directorate of School Education Department Jammu.
