Early Times Report
SURANKOTE, Dec 16: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has pitched for equal development of all the regions of Jammu & Kashmir without any prejudices so that development reaches every doorstep in the hilly districts. Bukhari was addressing workers meeting at Surankote, Poonch.
"It is because of the workers at the ground level, the party has gained support from the people in Pir Panjal region in such a short period of time since its foundation," he said while hailing the leaders and workers. He said that Apni Party is aimed at improving the living standard of the people and reach out to every house for equitable development of hilly districts in all regions of Jammu & Kashmir without any discrimination.
"Apni Party believes in unity and equal development. We will not discriminate with the people. Our motive is to give a good future to the people of J&K who have been deprived of their constitutional rights. If the basic amenities still lack in cities and towns, what would the condition of people in villages, and remote places. If we come to power, we will work for all over development and there will be no discrimination with any section of the society or of any region" he said.
Referring to the suffering of Pir Panjal which remains cut off from Kashmir valley for six months due to the closing of Mughal road; he assured that their priority will be to make the important Mughal road which is the only shortest link with Pir Panjal by keeping it functional for whole year.
He expressed his serious concern over the poor health care facilities in government hospitals and insisted on the up-gradation of the infrastructure, deployment of specialized doctors. "These hospitals including District Hospital Poonch and sub-district hospitals have become referral hospitals. We believe they should be able to provide emergency treatment to the critical patients in these hospitals," he said.
Apni Party Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the policies and programs of the party. Mir said that they will provide additional refill of four cooking gas cylinders to the entitled beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwal Yojana.
