JAMMU, Dec 18: A delegation of AIMCC met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner. The delegation was led by AIMCC President Desh Rattan Pandita. The organization put a charter of demands and problems faced by KPs and migrants. The demands include release of balanced ex-gratia, installation of bore wells at Jagti township, skill development programmes and other projects for migrant ladies, enhancement of cash assistance for migrants to Rs. 25,000, special package for over aged youth, issuance of Kissan cards to KPs, issuance of Ayushman Bharat cards to migrants and KPs, implementation of all central government schemes for KPs. The other demands include registration of KPs and migrants who have been left due, one government job to one family, renovation work of all blocks at Jagti township and other camps, releasing of medical funds to migrant patients whose cases are pending in Relief organization for last 2 to 3 years.
