Alexander Memorial School pays tributes to CDS Gen Bipin Rawat | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 18: Even though humanity is suffering from the impact of Covid-19 yet students and staff of Alexander Memorial Hr. Sec. School Celebrated Christmas festival in the School Premises with usual solemnity and gaiety. The whole campus, as per the school handout, was tastefully decorated with handmade buntings. In place of a commercial Christmas tree available in the market, we used an old broken branch and decorated it with the craftwork students had deposited for their winter assignment. The program started with a prayer by Rev. Vijay Kumar, Priest In-charge St. Paul's Church, Jammu. Esther William gave Christmas greetings and messages - the message of love service, sacrifice, and peace. Keeping in mind our planet and save the environment and not get carried away by commercial decorators. The tiny tots staged a small Nativity Play depicting the birth of Christ. The school choir presented Christmas Carols The Principal, Management, Staff, and Students Floral Tribute to Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat, and the army personal accompanying him in to Wellington in a chopper crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Lunch was made by Chakki Chaarpai. An initiative by FICCI FLO Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh in collaboration with UMEED. The school wished them well for their future ventures too. |
