JAMMU, Dec 18: SIBA Events & Entertainment Group in association with Red Cross Society Jammu region, J&K Police and supported by Koushal Jammu Milk Producers organized a first aid workshop in District Police Line Jammu for Jawans.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Chandan Kohli was the chief guest while Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP), K D Bhagat was the guest of honour and Koushal Jammu Milk Producers Co. Ltd member, Vikrant Dogra was the special guest on the occasion. Dr. Shally Mahajan from Indian Red Cross Society was also present among the other guests.
SIBA team Sidharth Verma (co-founder & MD), Baljeet Singh (co-founder & MD) along with SIBA team members Ramneek Kour, Meenakshi Verma, Advocate Sumit Verma, Amarjeet Singh, Jasmeet Kour, Rajiv Khajjat, Vishal Pangotra and Manmeet Singh managed the event. The highlight of the session was the role of police in pre-hospital management of trauma and road traffic accidents, other emergencies like cardiac arrest (CPR), choking, fainting, bone injuries, bleeding management were practically demonstrated on the staff. Techniques of transportation of accident victims were also impressed upon.
