| Degree College, RS Pura carried out Cleanliness Drive | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 18: As a part of ongoing Clean India Program (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) the NSS unit of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura carried out Cleanliness Drive in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, R. S. Pura. About 30 volunteers participated in the event. During the cleanliness drive, volunteers cleaned the premises by picking plastic items like wrappers, plastic bottles, and polythenes, cleaning the pathways etc. NSS Volunteers also interacted with the staff and students of the school. They sensitized them about the importance of a clean and hygienic environment for a better and healthy life. The work of NSS volunteers was appreciated by the principal of the school. The entire event was organized under the patronage of the Principal of the college Prof. Sunil Uppal and the supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer. |
