Janata Dal-United holds Jammu convention in Jagti

JAMMU, Dec 19: Janata Dal-United held a convention in Jagti Migrant Township Jammu on Sunday in which State President G.M. Shaheen, State General Secretary Sanjay Dhar, P.L. Pandita Chairman Migrants J&K, Daizy Dhar vice-chairman migrants, Gowhar Wani state spokesperson, Mudasar Ahmad Ganai National General Secretary Youth, Abdul Hamid Khan Secretary J&K, Raj Kumar Ticku President migrant Jammu and other members from almost all the districts participated. This convention was organized by Sanjay Dhar and P.L. Pandita. In this convention
Party President State G.M. Shaheen said that Jammu members, General Secretaries, and District Presidents participated in this convention.
The convention was called to assess the party position in Jammu and also laid emphasis on the party leadership to reach out to more and more people of Jammu on gross route level as well in Kashmir.
While speaking on the occasion, President Janata Dal-United for Jammu and Kashmir, G.M. Shaheen stressed upon the party members of the party to brace for the Assembly elections. He said that it is the responsibility of the District Presidents to motivate and persuade the members to be ready for the upcoming elections and start a membership drive so that more and more people could come in the party hold.
In this convention, Sanjay Dhar State General Secretary said JD(U) is the only option for J&K people, from the last decades all old parties, especially State Political parties have destroyed our J&K and nothing has been done for the people of J&K.
Dhar also mentioned in the coming months JD(U) will reach every district to join youth with our party and our manifesto will be only for the development and betterment of all State people. He also said our party will work for all communities with our new vision.
Chairman P.L. Pandita said that our Party being National Level Party will at each stage try to see a good tomorrow for the upliftment of middle/poor class people of the State and will strive for easing out the problem of unemployment, empowerment of women, without consideration of caste, creed, and religion, as since last seventy years the people remained voting but had to achieve nothing as hoped due to vested interests of State Political Parties. Pandita requested and advised the huge gathering with an appeal to the migrants, in particular, to trust with the faith once with our National Level Party during coming elections and we promise to make the missed dreams true with the blessings of ALMIGHTY. Further, the Chairman requested the President for getting all the problems as discussed voiced in the Parliament through our Party Members including the burning problem of unemployment, ex-gratia of gutted houses, enhancement of relief with the installation of all Central Government sponsored schemes.
Gowhar Wani party spokesman who reposed faith in the leadership of G.M Shaheen and said that Shaheen is the better choice and he can lead the party in Jammu and Kashmir as per the wishes of National Leadership to pave developmental lights to the people of State.
The other members who participated in the Jagti convention are R.K. Lalhotra, Ravender Singh President Sikh minority cell Jammu, Vikas Koul, General Secretary Migrants Jammu, Veer Ji Bhat Incharge transit camps Kashmir, Pinky Koul president Mahila Wing, Sumit Bhat Youth President, Vikas Bhat, T.K. Raina and so many leaders.
In the conclusion of JDU convention held in Jagti Jammu P. L.Pandita Chairman Migrants J&K also expressed full faith on behalf of Migrants in the State and National leadership, of the Party with an earnest hope of redressal of sufferings of the people in J&K State at each stage, with getting three political seats reserved for Kashmiri Migrants.
