JAMMU, Dec 19: Continuing the campaign of Aam Aadmi Party 'AAP ka danka gali gali' AAP organized a grand function of party which was presided by Rajesh Gupta Vice-President Aam Aadmi Party Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha today at Community Hall Jagati Nagrota, Jammu.
While addressing the media Gupta attacked (BJP's B Party) Apni Party UT President Altaf Bukhari saying that he is doing discrimination with Jammu which is not tolerable. Recently Bhukhari announced free 500 units of electricity for Kashmir and mere 300 units for Jammu. Gupta said the days are gone when Jammu people were tolerating discrimination for the last seven decades, but now AAP will do equality with Jammu and Kashmir. He said Bukhari that he should take his statement back immediately.
Earlier about seventy young male females joined the Aam Aadmi Party through Rajesh Gupta. Gupta said the process of joining AAP continues un-abated everyday sensing AAP is serious to contest the upcoming Assembly elections in J&K. Persons of high repute with political wisdom & high respect in the society are coming forward in large number to join AAP with the hope that Delhi Model of governance is implemented in J&K also which is the only mantra for all-round welfare of downtrodden section of society irrespective of caste, creed, and color & is need of the hour as the people are fed up with the religion-based politics of the ruling dispensation. Gupta added that the 25 BJP defunct MLA's also betrayed the people of Jammu none of them approached the people after winning the elections. "Today they are pretending to be the well-wishers of Jammu, whom they are using to strengthen their vote bank".
He urged upon PM Modi led the government to grant Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to all Pahari Speaking people of J&K. Aam Aadmi leader highlighted the various issues of public importance pertaining to the education, health, road accidents, revival of Self Help Groups of Engineers; regularization of daily wagers; pending payments of employees, compensation to farmers that suffered a loss due to hailstorm and employment to dental surgeons besides other development Discussions were also held on important issues like the creation of new employment avenues for the locals; fast-track recruitment for government jobs; Widow Pension for all widows and welfare of Covid warriors.
Rajesh Gupta urged Lieutenant Governor to open the schools as students are suffering for their education. He said most of the students who are living in far flung and hilly areas are not able to afford android handsets and moreover, the network is not available in such areas. Others who addressed were, Veerji Kachroo, R.K Ambardar, Azaj Bhat, Daisy Rainaand, and others.
