| Tawi Welfare Society organises Relief Distribution Function | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 25: A Relief Distribution Function was organised by Tawi Welfare Society at Apnavan Sure Chak today in which warm clothes were distributed among 100 needy people of around 26 villages Tawi Island and its adjoining area.
Er. Kuldeep Singh Nathyal Suprintendent Engineer Public Works Department was the Chief Guest at this occasion who in his brief address appreciated the work done by the volunteers of Society for the needy/under privileged people of Tawi Island.
He assured full help/support of his Department and from his own as well in future activities of Society. Ishya Devi Sarpanch was the Guest of Honour. Society members welcomed the Guests by presenting bouquets to them.
A memento was also presented to the Chief Guest as a token of love.Nand Kishor senior member of Society thanked the Guests for sparing their valuable time on a holiday. Raghbir Singh Manhas a social personality, Julfqar Ali JE PWD, Naib Sarpanch Ram Lal, Panch Girdhari Lal were also present on this occasion. |
